DOUGLAS C. DESCHENES is one of the shareholders of Deschenes & Farrell, P.C. He lives in Westford, Massachusetts with his wife and two children. Mr. Deschenes was born and raised in Tyngsboro. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Biology from University of Maine at Orono, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from New Hampshire College and a Juris Doctor from the Northeastern University School of Law. He joined Hall & Finnegan in 1997, having previously been a Vice President and Counsel for State Street Bank and Trust Company. He primarily focuses his practice in Zoning, Land Use and Development Law; including Environmental, Wetland and Rivers protection issues. Additionally, he practices in the areas of Real Estate Conveyancing and Business Law. Mr. Deschenes was formerly a member and Chairman of Westford Conservation Commission, Master Plan Implementation Committee, Westford Affordable Housing Committee and Westford Water Commission. He was the Co-Founder of the Westford Land Preservation Foundation (non-profit land preservation group).
